i've recently changed my speedo gauge lights etc to blue using the how to sticky(very helpful-thanks), however, the gauges are not very blue or bright. theyr'e more a pale blue/white.
does anyone know why this could be and how i could get it really bright like yours are on the pictures. i replaced my original bulbs with blue side light bulbs, 194 i think. would led's have been brighter perhaps? thanks. -------------------- imghttp://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n153/LI...KINGy2j/sig.jpg[/img]

As the other guys said you need LEDs look on ultraleds.co.uk I used three blue 501 wide angle ones they look good. Also get two more for your side lights.

Yes it probably would be. Since your going with blue. It might not show up good either cause the blue lights will be hitting the red and might turn it to another color. Idk i'd try and see with a paint you can take off just incase you don't like it.

Yea let me know how the LEDs goes. I've got some myself, but couldn't be bothered installing it. If it is better I'll change them. I'm not sure about the needle, but it should work. Here is a pic of the package. Please note the bulb in this picture is white, not blue. ^^but it still put out blue light . . .
the only reason i ask is because your gauges have the BEST light "spread"...meaning LEDs have a harder time of spreading the light...but if anyone has a pic of and LED setup that has SPREAD the light as well as ZR's (or even close)...POST IT!! LOL... anyway, thanks ZR, ~snap -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ
