So I worked 15.5 hours yesterday (7:30am - 11pm) and for all my hours over 8hrs i got time and a half. The president of the company gave me a starbucks card last night and bought pizza. Then today my boss gave me a 50 dollar gift card to Best Buy and the president bought everyone who stayed late last night 75 dollar gift card to wherever they wanted so i picked best buy so now i have 125 bucks to best buy so im going to put it towards a 27 inch tv since ive been working with a 13 inch tv since i was 7 years old. Then today i found out they are giving me a dollar raise!

Where do you work? Yes, employees should be treated at least once a year (for me, also Christmas time, which is typically the fiscal year end for most companies) for their hard work. I got taken out to a nice restaurant last week and got a gift card too from my boss. We also had a couple other free meals and gifts last week too. That helps morale, and the boss has to remember that he/she is nothing without you. Just generalizing, but you get the point.

ahh yes... I have just got 29 hours over time.. which is 22 an hour bitches.. but retail still sucks.. btu I love the pay.. lol

 my work does NOTHING like this! They gave us a letter this year saying how they have tripled their profits etc & then what do they do? give us all a .10 cent raise LOL ooooooh *yes* At least they gave everyone a bonus, I got $100 but this other girl I work with only got $75...weird. Oh & btw we dont get our bonus till AFTER Christmas...not cool! I need it now for christmas ya know?? lol But its BS cause in the past they have given me like $300 for a bonus...& now that they have more money to work with...they give us less...wtf? i need a new job for sure. ANYWAY Natalie congrats for upgrading to a bigger better tv (i know u havent yet but still)

on the 28th I will go from 11.96/hr to 12 something, and then at the beginning of the year I go to 13 something. I have Fri-Mon off this week and then next week I work 7A-7P T,W,Th which for me means 12hrs overtime. More money for my Silvertop

I get to work 6 days a week for the foreseeable future (down from 7), with no increase in pay until April. I sometimes wonder why I don't pack up and leave, but it does afford me some time while at work to learn some more C++/C#. My bonus tends to be a $25 gift card to somewhere monthly. Meh.

yeah i didnt get a bonus this year cuz i just came back to the company in October. I was with them for a year and a half previously though!
