here i plan to just post photos from the swappage and ask a few question.
like what i should clean the firewall with. whats the best industrial cleaner cause im gunna need it lol. couple hours one night. to a couple hours the next night. To the Dr.Tweak pose after a couple hours the third night. now its time to clean everything so im set when the 3s is here. -------------------- |

hahahaha awesome, nice job John to clean the firewall, use some sort of degreaser like 409, simple green, puple stuff, ect...then wipe clean. Buy a few rolls of paper towels and maybe a scruby sponge glad to see you got the motor out now buy a clutch for the 3s motor /5s tranny. Also, since the motor is out change your front sway bar bushings, it will be very easy now and the are $6 each, and maybe your fuel filter too. -------------------- |

If you want to cut serious grease from the engine bay before the swap, pick up a big stack of cheap shop towels at the auto parts store and go to town with stuff like Gunk (comes in a white can and works amazing) Simple Green like Dustin mentioned, or just a can of brake cleaner. It all works great.

yeah i used loads of degreaser today. and bought sum urathene for my mounts.
the only thing is to pressure wash it i need to get it off the jacks, put the a arms back on with the wheels. ill post pics of it clean tonight. Hosed it all down. got most of the old paint off. gunna have to scuff up everthing for the new paint anyways. (im really enjoying this swap) But not as much as this guy ^ (my friend isnt the best mech, but he listens great so he helps lol) Got the shipping info. the clip will be here Tuesday my driveway has a rainbow river all over it lol from all the weird chemicals. Today we sanded the inside of the bay and painted some engine bay black all over it.
