like the title of the topic says, im bored.

so here goes,

this is the oldest pic i have of my WRX. it was taken by the dealer and used for their online ad, which is how i found the car. she had 2700 miles on her.

i am thinking about painting the side skirts. i also plan on getting HID for all my lights(hi, low and fog biggrin.gif ) as well as getting black housing headlights from an 05 wrx. a blue STI scoop is also in the plans

other than that, the car is done on the outside.

the wheels are BBS wheels that subaru offers for the WRX. they are normally the same color as the stock WRX wheels but when i got them there were chipped up because they were used on one of ESX's cars. i had them sandblasted and powdercoated a semi glossy black to keep with the whole black and blue theme

mods that u cant see:

FMIC
full exhuast
water injection
UTEC
STI 6spd
one piece driveshaft
hks bov

comming soon
gt35r
engine swap(jdm 2.0 or usdm 2.5)

kindasad.gif yes... she has dented and curb rashed all four wheels, sometimes she had hit a curb so hard that it ripped a chuck of tire out of the sidewall forcing me to go buy her new tires. how the wheels are still straight and balanced amazes me! also there are scratches, door dings, and scrapes all over the body. then her friends used that car safe marker crap to say happy B day on the car or something like that, and well, my sister left it on for a little bit. lets just say its not that car safe.

mechanically she is perfect. in a few years when my sister gets another car, i would like to convert the celica to 5spd and turbo it to make it a peppy daily driver.

~260whp on a dynojet awd dyno. the car beats stock sti's and evo's even when i have a couple of passengers. it still feels very slow to me

still have the stock turbo. its pretty good considering how much power is lost going from the flywheel to the wheels

i plan to have ~400whp on pump gas once i swap in a JDM motor and get the gt35r turbo. then when i dont need to have the car as my daily driver, i will build a nice 2.5l motor and go for some big power

One of the nicest/cleanest suby's I've seen! I personally love the blue/gold rally theme but everyone and their brother has that look nowadays. Nice job man.

yea, i figured i would defy convention. i honestly have never seen another wrx with my wheels in person, especially powdercoated black(probably because subaru charges ~$750 a piece for them).

thanks, i was kinda iffy about the vented look but it was in better shape than the plain hoods that CF1 had in their warehouse sale

I wouldnt swap an EJ25 into that. the 2.0 was put there for a reason, its lighter and faster. I have two subarus at my house, EJ22 and EJ25, both slow and crappy.. but when I drove a WRX, it was like sex. They have a squishy, truck-like shifter, but if you get a Kartboy it gets better.

i have a perrin short shifter, going to get bushings for it eventually. as for the 2.0 being better than a 2.5, the STI 2.0 from japan is better, but the usdm STI 2.5 is a much better engine than the 2.0 that wrx's were given in the US. it has a stronger block, better cams, better heads, bigger valves and several have gotten to 500whp on a completely stock STI motor. the 2.0 in my car cant come close to that, and even if i build it, the block is still the weak point being that its open deck design

go drive an STI, im sure it will change your opinions on the EJ25 engine smile.gif

If you were going to swap and engine into that would would want the JDM 2.0 or the USDM closed deck 2.2, thats the very best engine subaru made, no subaru sedan/coupe with a 2.2 is slow. The 2.5 is a bigger engine so you can get the most power out of it but you give up gas mileage add more weight and the engine just isn't very good. You've never driven a WRX... they dont shift like trucks at all... Kartboy shifters suck, perrin, AVO, STI or Zerosports are the best subaru shifters
