Yeah, you can help it a good bit. You'll want intake and exhaust first though. Makes the camshafts benifts better. I don't knwo what moddle Celica you have, since it's not in your profile. You can get them for the 3sge and 3sgte, and maybe the 7afe. But you'll have to have them made for the 5sfe. If you have questions about the engines read the info or history on the title page.

its goiong to depend on what intake or exhaust, what duration and lift on the cams, and there are many other things you have to consider like what kind of shape your motor is in how many miles are on it etc, etc.

Thats a hard one...... There really is two camshaft for the 7afe, belive it or not. I don't think they make any unless you go custom, and that leads to high dollars. Likewise, the engine was made for fuel Econ so not much performance going there. I would suggest that you just get a turbo kit and bolt it on.

there are no camshafts.....
there are only "redgrinds" where they weld on some metal then grind it to the appropriate dimensions.....this is a way NOT to go |

But for a company like webcamshafts, when you buy it for $550, I figure they would be reliable, or at least come with a warinty. Drag teams and race cars make custom all the time, but I figure they use forged. I haven't heard of any of webcamshafts cams having problems. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
