would a 7gc computer fit in a 6gc and if so would it help on power any?

it wouldnt help at all... its setup for an engine that runs higher RPMs and runs with vvt(L)-i, 2 things our engine doesnt have.

Do you mean the car's ecu? If so, then no, there's no way it would work with a 7A-FE or 5S-FE engine at all, at least without lots of modification.

where did you get that idea! the enignes have nothing in common except displacement....

it's not that it wouldn't fit, IT WOULDN'T WORK!!!!!

actually, i think that many honda ecu's are interchangeable like when doing a vtec head swap and stuff like that.

as for toyota, they arent communists, everything they make does not have to be multi-purpose multi-function and interchangable

that being said, go for an aftermarket ecu or reprogrammed ecu, those will bring you some gains

thats because they swap the Vtech heads with the ECU. swapping a Vtech ECU into a non-vtech civic is just as dumb as swapping the VVt-i ECU into a non VVt-i engine. now if you were to swap the ZZ's head, then you could probably get away with using a tuned ZZ ECU.

Vtec is gayz0r...althogh Honda puts out descent engines. I know of a few hondas with b series engine swaps runnin 12's :-D...Can't wait...
