How many times in one day... Options

I was on my way to work today and I swear, I got hit up maybe 3 or 4 times to race someone. First a yellow integra, then a green Jetta, and then a BMW 3 series. On the way home it was just as bad. so that got me thinking...


How many times a day do you get hit up to race someone?


(And no, I wasn't stupid enough to actually race these people.. just speed up enough to where they get stuck behind a slow car... )

last time it happened to me what was this weekend that just passed... i was in the car with the gf going back to her house... and i get next to this civic hatch ... i was behind the civic and just got on the other lain cause i was going to pull into the gas station that was about half a mile up the road... the guy/girl started reving its eingine when we pulled up to the light ... i laughed... and looked at my girl and said watch this.... light chenged ... the civic took off and i pulled into the gass station that was right after the light...as i'm pulling into the gas station i see red and blue lights a little down the road... after i get finish filling up .. head back out on the same road.. and i see the civic pulled over.. LOL ...

moral of the story .. when your radaor goes off pull into a gas station ... LOL

on it would happen to me almost every nite on the way to work when i frist got the GT.. and it was mean of the M3 driver that did it... that a-hole .. made me wont to have more power ...

haven't got any recently but like 2 weeks ago on the highway. i was stuck in traffic and a yellow civic hatch with bodykit and a loud azz coffee can went beside me and start revin... i was like wtf... ya trying to race me in traffic so i ignored him... my exhaust ain't that loud since i have the resonator and silencer on it.. but he could hear me.. so he rev more.... i got pissed and when there was enough distance i step on alil more gas and PSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHH... dude in teh civc was shocked lol.. and i hear no more revin from him no more lol

I get asked to race ALLL the time. One of my friends wanted to race his yamaha r6 against my car.... that would be a close one

And are u being serious? The power to weight ratio on an R6 is like 100000 to 1.. he'd Royaly Rape you. Unless your running an R34 with like some crasy 25psi pushing nearly 600hp

My story took place...last weekend? some time around there. I was leaving work and a Chevy S-10 pulled up. Lowered..must have been the extreme. Had 2 ghey silver rally strips up it. (anyway) we pull out onto the main road. Hit a stop light. We stop. Light CHanges...he floors it and takes off. (im stupid, i have an auto) So take it out of o/d and gun it.....OMG i caught up and started to pass him...i realized the car was almost redlining in 3rd gear so i poped the o/d back on and then he caught up to the point were i was a fender ahead. Then as we came up to a Red Lobster, i looked into the parking lot, (holy ****) It WAS THE PO PO! i slowed to about 65, (speed limit is 55) he pulls out and goes past me STAREING AT ME, like he knew i was going fast. long story short, beat an s-10, (celica is bone stock) didnt get a ticket, and got to tell a story on 6gc.

Just the other day some d**k tried to race me I have a mitsubishi Mirage 1990 Super Swift R with a cyborg bodykit it's a JDM model some idiot in a 1000 cc starlet with a 5'' muffler came up really close behind me almost hitting my bumper I was so pissed off tried to catch up with me I went the speed limit 80 km/h and I went through the orange light coz you are allowed to and he got stuck at the red light he than turned off and couldn't catch up I have a 1600 cc car. The idiot got stuck behind lots of other cars too.

not more than once in a day.... most of the time not even that.
all we have around here are 350 powered chevy trucks and such.... and they think they are gods.... that and muscle cars - I got a friend w/ a 400 small block chevelle.... i told him i would run him from a roll in my dads 92' 6-bolt Fwd turbo DSM w/ a mod list from here to infinity. he hasn't got back to me on that one yet (he skurred)

time for my story with a civic:)
i was getting in a highway... going about 80 and a white civic hatch prob a 98-99 model (bodykit, rear clear lights, big muffler and on the rear a stricker civic tyre r(cant be sure if it i was really a type r)) passes me from the left (dont forget here in cyprus we drive on the left side of the road)
i speed up to 150 and pass him and get the right lane of the highway and slow down to 120-130 and get the left lane.
this civic comes on my right and revs his engine... i change from 5th to 3rd gear and i wait for him to speed up... he speeds up.... i pass him from the left (cos of a slower (legal:P) car) and till 190 i was 4-5 cars in front of him...
i again slow down to 120... and here he comes again... the same story but this time side to side... again the same distance....
again i slow down and he came again next to me... this time there was a slower car in front of me and i got behind him... i couldnt pass him but couldnt get away from me... my front bumber was like 1 meter from his rear.
after 180 i slowed down... but stayed in the right lane (the fast one) and waited to see what is on his mind... he took on the left and slowed down to 100...
i thought it was over and speed up to go to my destination... as i was passing him (i was going about 130) he speed up ( i guess from 2nd gear) and tryied to get in front of me... i got little bit mad... (this guy was almost trying to get me off road) i steped on it passed between some cars with almost 200 and got the left lane going 130 and saying no more.
he again came on my right and reved his car... i look at him... for the first time!... he gave a wild look... like i am not up for it.... something.... i pointed him my middle finger and kept going 130... he was speeding up and slowing down... till he came in front of me sighaling left... i passed him from the right i saw him from the mirror exiting the highway.
That all.!

today i raced some guy in a mazda 6 i believe with muffler and wheels and a drop... probably intake too but i couldnt tell... i won and my brother never woke up... was on my way to a great day at school

the thing i hate most is that i go to a rich school a mile away from another very rich school and every kid has a mercedes kompressor or a nice audi or something a lot more expensive and a lot more fast than my celi. so i just cruise while i let them waste their gas

but yah it happens everyday, a few times every time i go out. especially around 9 - 11 pm on friday night

wow, maybe I just attract the Hondas, but tonight coming home from work I had a EG coupe that had primer everywhere and some LS webs tried to have a go at it, but couldn't keep up through the twisties, then on my way up this hill he tries to pass me, but gets stuck behind an old Civic, who proceeds to try and race as well, in the end the score was as follows:

Celi=1
Hondas=0

i never got "challenged" in the 96 the 00 was a little more common maybe because it was soo freaking loud. last time i raced, i raced a cobb stage one wrx at the track, he ran ~14.5 i ran a 14.3.

i liked racing WRXs from a roll.

ha ha ha well if i was to race my accord against my celi the vtech will win god my turtle is slow i need a second job so i can get this swap done lol. But here in my town i always get challenged to race pretty stupid to me i mean i drive a singlecam vtech luxery car and its always some dumb vw golf reving at me. this whole vw VS. [H] thing.
