Just wondering... how tough is it to change this sensor? I have some basic tools with jack stands and a hydrolic jack...

Thanks for the correction. Hopefully I will get to it today after work since it's not raining. Quick question, if all I need are new wires, will any wires do?

Well, I was able to get someone to get my car on a lift, and it turns out that the wire was loose on the connector. He is trying to see if he can put another connector on there. I hope this solves the problem!
Oh and some prices: Knock Sensor at the dealer = $175 Knock Sensor at Autozone = $225 ??? wtf?? |

just get one from the bone yard, or from a member here, or celicatech parting out, or whatever. =)'
thats only if you NEED it tho..sounds like you have it fixed without replacing it. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
