I have 17" enkie rims but they are somewhat more inside the fender wall. Do you know what is a good width of the rims like 7.5 or 8 or 8.5 ? But I don't want it to stick out beyond the fender, I just want it as close to the fender without leveling with the fender.

do a search on the word "offset" with me as the person making the post and you will find all the information you need.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

hint: it's a combo of offset + width.

i'd just try to just off someone else's pic that is like what you want, and then use the offset calculator to go from there so you dont have to measure everything out.

On the highway I love it, In the city it's OK, the first time I drove it after taking off my 17's, the way home was on a bumpy road and all I could think was "what did I do???" on rough roads the ride is terrible, BUT tollerable for the look and grip....

....I think it was just a shock since in one day in the morning I dropped it off with a freind of mine with stock suspension and 17's with 215/45/17 tires and picked it up with tein s-tech's, koni struts, and 19's with 35 series tire...

now I'm used to it biggrin.gif
