im lookin to buy a new motor this buy would be cheaper than fixing my massive oil leak just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it before i go spend $600 my engine has 165,000 miles and a BAD oil leak that they tell me will cost $800 to fix. just wondering. dont yell at me too bad for being dumb.....i did search but no one has ever brought this up thanks

well its a 3sfe and you have a 5sfe so your gonna have to rewire anyway and it doesnt say anything about comming with a harness or anything. also it says the motor might not look like that one in the photo so i'd say find a junkyard motor or someone from here thats selling a 5sfe

If your gonna use your old stuff to put it on your car it might work, otherwise you will need to drill a hole on the rear motor mount to make it work. The mount that comes with the tranny on this new engine.

dont go for a jdm 3sfe, they have no benefits and you might have problems with smog. find a 5sfe locally from car-parts.com or similar places.

I would learn my emissions laws first. And Find out if you need a JAP ecu which you'll never have high enough octane to work with on a day to day deal.

you can use the motor with your exsiting intake and exhaust manifolds and it will work fine... however it's a 3SFE and is .2 liters smaller than the 5SFE. I personally wouldn't do it... but it will work without a hitch.
