Dustin Brown's car was that color, then he did some body mods and I think he repainted the whole car the stock color, but with a pearl or flake clearcoat. It looks sweet, and I'm sure he'd know the color code.

I am not sure Dustin has the same colour smile.gif

My 1997 Celica brochure lists that color as Topaz Metallic. the color chart post lists that as 1A2 in 1997 and 94-95, which is the celi in your picture.

The actual "color code" for that isn't champagne. In 1995 Toyota offered the celica in Topaz Metallic Clearcoat, and the color code is 1A2 like Scott said.

Check out my profile. My car is 1A2, or Topaz Metallic (sometimes called Taupe). I think this is a rare color, b/c I rarely see a celica this color, and I live in a populated area. Very beautiful I agree. biggrin.gif

Well, I think the Celi pics you found were by someone with a custom paint job then, b/c I have not seen a Celi like that, and mine is the closest to it.

I honestly don't think this car has a custom pain job. I think this is the stock color and because these pictures were taken with shadows on the car it appears darker then it is.

BUT if you read his profile it says " I just coated it in Black Pearl."
