for the manifold, most celicas with 7a-fte's that ive seen are using log-style manifolds. i also saw a guy with a b-series manifold. you can also make a custom tubular mani and even throw in an external gate but most ppl with 7afe arent looking to break any world records or anything so the best choice is probably log-style.
for the turbo, according to compressor maps, the best choice for any 1.8L engine is a T3 super 60. for injectors, i personally am going with supra green-top injectors that you can get on ebay. i think theyre 315cc. as long as theyre TOP-FEED and HIGH IMPEDANCE(SATURATED), you'll be fine. RC engineering makes somegood ones. it really depends on ur HP goal and such but 315cc are good enough for me. im trying to achieve 220hp(double the 7afe stock power) on stock internals. for fuel pump, i personally am going with the 93-98 supra pump. it's better than the walbro and isnt noisy like the walbro. anyone feel free to correct me if wrong but this would be a good setup for fuel system? -------------------- |

You can also use a Walbro '93-'98 Supra Turbo fuel pump also, which is like $90...cheaper than a OEM Supra one. I am using a Walbro '86-'92 Supra Turbo fuel pump since I didn't use it on my older '87 Supra Turbo, and I had to use the stock Celica fuel pump panty, since the Supra one was too tall and it did not let the pump cover close properly. I got the pump from ExtremePSI on eBay. I think they have a website also. For injectors, you can use Ford Probe Turbo/Mazda MX-6 Turbo injectors also. I am using those right now since my stock ECU does not like the Venom 550s. Once I install the stand-alone, I'll use those Venoms and get an inline fuel pump to pull from the Walbro. And like JoKeR said, the Walbro is a whiny thing...gets REALLY loud and annoying when the weather is hot or the car sits at idle for a while. You can hear it pressurize the fuel lines...VERY annoying. The stock Supra fuel pump is dead quiet.
The log-style manifold I got it from JGStools. I don't think Lance makes them anymore, but you can look him up in google and ask him. I got it with a Deltagate flange so I could use my Tial 35mm WG. This post has been edited by OOBE: Jan 10, 2006 - 7:04 PM -------------------- |

dark, it really depends on a lot of things. chances are, all the parts for ur turbo kit that you buy will be used... so i can sell you a turbo for a dollar or even give it to you for free if you were my brother, or you could buy one from someone for $150-$500. so to give you an exact price is very difficult if not impossible. but you may be looking anywhere from $800-$3000. if you're looking for a complete kit, intercooler system, upgraded fuel system, etc, i would say somewhere from $800-$1500. if you're looking to get some parts brand new or brand name, then the price will be higher. and if you're paying someone to do it, even more. for my setup, i plan on doing everything myself, and taking it somewhere to get it tuned.
