Planning on painting my valve cover black. Has anyone done it? I want to see what it would look like before i do it. Also any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

black with green letters. i touched it up a lot after this, smoothed out the letters, fixed that missing chunk, took off the water spots. i havent installed this yet so i dont know how it will work out. but i baked it at 500 degrees for 5 minutes and you're lookin at how it came out. -------------------- |

camera phone pics..sry 4 poor quality..i painted mine the same colour as my car. I have to break out the brush and touch up the 16V part though. |

well, best thing to do is play off the colour or clours of ur car..my car is red with black interior with red highlights. so every thing in my car is red and black through out the car..red n black sparcos, red lights, red dash peices, when i get my rims they r either gonna b flat bronze..cuz i like em..or im gettin them painted red and black.

does anyone know the torque spec for the 4 nuts that hold down the valve cover? |
