Has any one heard of any reviews of a GSM car Alarm -

This is definitely not something I need - but rather I want because its cool

being able to start - arm - disarm - use the siren as a speaker phone -all from your cell phone -
since it uses GSM capabilities - your not limited by distance like a 2 way remote would be --

disadvantage - because you would preferebly use a pre paid sim card - it'll cost you money to renew or buy a new simcard every time its out --

i had saw this on UK Pimp My Ride tv show as an added feature to the car they were redoing

using your cell phone is one of the sources of controlling the alarm - but you also have your usual 2 way transmitter/remote - as a regular function - picture above should let you see that smile.gif

one of the question i have about the regular remote is the distance range - i'll try and find out by emailing or calling the manufacturer
