Has any one heard of any reviews of a GSM car Alarm - This is definitely not something I need - but rather I want because its cool being able to start - arm - disarm - use the siren as a speaker phone -all from your cell phone - since it uses GSM capabilities - your not limited by distance like a 2 way remote would be -- disadvantage - because you would preferebly use a pre paid sim card - it'll cost you money to renew or buy a new simcard every time its out -- i had saw this on UK Pimp My Ride tv show as an added feature to the car they were redoing |

so i have to call my car to lock or unlock it? wat if i'm at a place with no reception?

using your cell phone is one of the sources of controlling the alarm - but you also have your usual 2 way transmitter/remote - as a regular function - picture above should let you see that ![]() one of the question i have about the regular remote is the distance range - i'll try and find out by emailing or calling the manufacturer This post has been edited by celicarus: Jan 18, 2006 - 5:38 PM |
