sorry for my extended absence from the forums, i know ive talked to a few people a bit on AIM, but they can all attest not nearly as much as before. I am back, just been very very busy with school, work, racing, and i am now a member of Delta Tau Delta, which has also taken up a good part of my free time.

(short version is over, only read on if you are REALLY REALLY REALLY BORED and pretend like you care)

as for school, i did fairly well but still feel like i got my ass kicked, atleast its over for another 2 1/2 months before i have to worry about that again. its nice though to pass everything and now be a junior 2 standing, only about 5 terms left lol

work is still the same, not what i want to be doing but oh well, it works for now, and the spontanious overtime is always a plus.

racing, ahh the fun stuff. i finished my first season in detroit region SCCA solo 2, it went as well as i could have expected. ended up 3rd overall in the E-stock division, and could have ended up 2nd had I raced the whole year in the same car/class. After blowing the motor on my MR2 turbo at the first event of the year I drove my friends SC2 he generously allowed me to co-drive at the second event before settling into E-stock with my current Hardtop NA MR2. Right now just doing some karting in the offseason. Going to Driving School in Cincy first week in april, that should be awesome, then starts the next season of detroit region autocrossing and will hopefully attend atleast 1 central division event, 1 prosolo event, and if i am so fortunate go to the national championship event in topeka at the end of next year.

That first pic of the white mr2 is sweet, I luv those cars and i think that kit looks really good.

thanks. ya, i was bummed because last year i was offered atleast 5 chances that i can remember to hit road tracks but had to turn them down because i either already had plans or didnt have the $100+ to blow at the time... next year though. what i have heard from most autocrossers is they find road racing to be extremely boring unless you are actually competing because of how intense autocrossing is, i guess ill just have to make that judgement call once i get out there. I have been tossing around the idea of moving onto SCCA Club racing in showroom stock division after im done with school, my girlfriend already suggested i use her celica GTS to run (since the MR2 is too old to qualify) as long as i buy her a new car lol sounds like a good deal to me.
