it wouldnt help at all... its setup for an engine that runs higher RPMs and runs with vvt(L)-i, 2 things our engine doesnt have.

Do you mean the car's ecu? If so, then no, there's no way it would work with a 7A-FE or 5S-FE engine at all, at least without lots of modification.

actually, i think that many honda ecu's are interchangeable like when doing a vtec head swap and stuff like that.
as for toyota, they arent communists, everything they make does not have to be multi-purpose multi-function and interchangable that being said, go for an aftermarket ecu or reprogrammed ecu, those will bring you some gains -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

thats because they swap the Vtech heads with the ECU. swapping a Vtech ECU into a non-vtech civic is just as dumb as swapping the VVt-i ECU into a non VVt-i engine. now if you were to swap the ZZ's head, then you could probably get away with using a tuned ZZ ECU. -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm...
