Depressed Options

I think im depressed. Not to the point to do anything stupid but im just always glum! i feel like Eeyore from Pooh stories! I let so many things decide if im going to be happy - IE Boys! and in my mind im like Dont let that determine how ur going to feel but it seems to overtake me! Ive seen a doc in the past and she perscribed some medicine but my parents were against it since my bro is severly depressed so i guess since my case is mild compared to his that it makes me not a canidate. but i also know that docs do seem to prescribe depression pills at any sign and they pass it out like its candy

I dont know what to do! my feelings are so up and down and maybe it has to do with this stupid only one day of no rain for the past 28 days. And i keep getting sick and maybe this has something to do with it. Wow i probably sound like a nut case! i need to suck this up cuz im getting teary eyed at work!

maybe i guess it would make me feel better to know im not the only one who gets down! Im not looking for sympathy just for some people in my same boat! idk!

sidenote - dont get me wrong - its not boys that have me down! its myself in general and money and what not! boys seem to be on top of that list that get me down

aww yeah my car has started to make me happy again..been a while since he did that for me! just cant look at his quarter panel or i get sad again! but yeah hes a good guy - atleast i know one of them in my life!

yeah but my doc asked if i was down enough to kill myself and i said no but ive thought about it but could never follow thru cuz im just going thru stupid crap right now that a typical girl goes thru and then shes like well let me put u on these pill but one downside is that they may make u feel like you could follow thru on killing urself and im like uhh how is that better than the state im in right now?

i seem to be going through the same thing u are, trouble with the oposite sex always seems to be at the top of the list when it comes to troubles...to me, it seems that nothing ever works out, but whenever i get into these moods i jus think about the things i am happy for like my friend/roomate. No matter what kind of mood im in, i can jus think of his stupid ass self and being laughing again. I think in my case i tend to focus more on the negitves parts about my life, and forget about all the postives, but when i remember them again, i feel fine. So my advice to you is jus find something your really thankfull for and jus think about that whenever **** gets bad

p.s idk if u have ever seen the movie wedding date or something like that..has the red head from will and grace staring in it. But the guy who is a whore basically in the movies makes alot of sense when it comes to relastionships. Might wanna rent that if your trying to figure out relationships woooes

I get into a funk about this time every year too. The winters here can be really depressing. Fortunatly, the days are only getting longer since we've past the solstice. Yesterday was pretty nice all be it a little cold.

Find some positives to focus on and don't let the bad stuff get you down. I know it's easier said than done, it's something I fight with every year. Maybe this week you can make it down here to get the part I have for your car (don't worry about paying for it). I can put it in if you like. That might cheer you up. At least you'll be able to go throught the drive thru again

Its your age. Its normal to feel depressed, you have a lot going on in your life. I mean your young, your looking or thinking and making decisions that will effect you for the rest of your life.

I feel like that alot too.. Like I dont wanna go kill myself, its just that im not happy. im just blahh... Everything effects me.. I have a lot going on in my faimly, work, and school.. and not even to mention my social life.

Just try to look at the positive things, Like your young, beautiful, seem to be outgoing and able to have fun, you dont live out of a box on the street and you have a car. You dont know how maney people would kill for that.

Have Fun.. Try not to think about tomorrow, or a week from now, or worry about guys. Do what makes you happy and what you want. That and try to stay busy, I notice Im always happier when im busy, like non-stop doing anything, it keeps your mind from thinking about to much. That and It always helps to just have a close friend or anyone to just sit down and talk to.

Yeah ive tried keeping myself busy with things that better myself such as the gym and reading.

everyone gets depressed. its a part of life. your problem is that you look to people or things to make you happy, and then once that thrill is gone, you get sad again. you have to learn how to be happy without guys in your life, or shopping.

dont take any pills. doctors should be crucified for trying to treat people for something they know nothing about. those pills have more side effects then you can imagine.
