i am still having alot of problems intalling my boomer side skirts......i herd you can use a heat gun to help bend the fiberglass........well i dont actually have one and i dont know where to get one, so i read some where that you can use your hair dryer......so i tried it and it didnt seem to work......do i have to wait longer for the fiberglass to get soft or does the hair dryer thing just not work?......also how long does a heat gun take on average? thanks for ur help

Sorry to hear you are having problems. A heatgun will get hotter than a hair dryer.

These wouldn't be VIS skirts by chance would they? mad.gif

well thanks for your help, but does anyone else know about this hair dryer thing......and how much or where i could get my hand on a heat gun....thanks again

I know my Vis boomer skirts, WHICH IS NOT WHAT I ORDERD, didnt fit worth crap.. i spent a long time with heat gun.

You need to go get a real heat gun, i used one and it was fine.

Go to Home Depot or Lowe's, they should have it in the painting dept. Not sure about the cost though.
