I noticed that my rear lights really rattle when my bass is up, even with a little bass you can still hear it rattleing from outside the car. Anyone have dynomat or similar mats placed in the hatch to get rid of it? If so, where did you put it at, thanks

I have tons of sound deadener, and my car rattles very little. I'm taking some of it out though, and going with just a single 8" sub soon.

I only have two more rattles that I have to take care of. One is kind of impossible to get to, and that's the key hole. The other is coming from the trunk, but I haven't figured out exactly where it is yet (it's not the liscense plate, I already took care of that).
I sound deadened my doors and trunk floor and that has helped with all rattle except for the ones I explained. I'm gonna put some around the hatch lid and the latch, hopefully that solves my problems. This post has been edited by Mystify.: Jan 21, 2006 - 10:02 PM |

turn ur bass down??..lol
Ive never really had 2 many rattels. I have my single 10" and my 500watt RMS amp. Only thing of mine that rattels is the lisence plate, but my sponsor told me 2 use some nylon washers behind the plate between it and the body to reduce the ratteling. It worked. Other than that only other rattels i get are from my hatch cover n thats because my trunk plastics arent snapped in fully. |

the oring idea makes sence, but its also where the edges or the plastic meets the metel
My trunk is compleatly covered floor to hatch with matting, it works very well but not compleatly gone, I got a bunch left (bought 100sq ft) but its gana take some time to find the few spots. -------------------- |

I have the stock speakers and even when my music isnt very loud i get rattling from the doors, I noticed if i open my windows a little it kinda stops. Its very very very annoying. -------------------- Buy my Celica $2,500 - http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0
