It bone stock with a new (14 months ago) 7AFE.

Current ODO reading is 109,xxx... but there are less than 35,xxx on the engine (reciept available). The new engine gets AWESOME MPG - we are talking 30 mixed 34 highway. I would say the body is in great condition, a small dent on the front left fender. A scrach on the bottom of the front lip.. and a small crack (that has been sealed) on the right taillight. Other than that the body is in great shape. The previous owner was a smoker - but no scent is left. The drivers seat has a rip on the bolster (From getting in and out of the car).

I am asking 3,000 OBO. Please call me if you have any questions,

im curious what the difference is in a STX... Is it just the sticker you put on there? or is there something different about them...Ive never even heard of an STX, other then the Lacrosse brand. Also, do you have any pics of the interior?

More than likely a dealer option. Could be a fully loaded ST.

All STX means is that it is a fully loaded ST (Power everything, Moon Roof, Tilt wheel, CD etc... STs dont even come with leather to my knowledge) with aftermarket BBS wheels and a unique spoiler (looks like the wings west coupe spoiler except with a led strip brake light).

Let me know if you are still intrested - I really dont think it will last long, its been crazy the intrest I have been getting in my po-dunk rural town, I guess the rednecks are sick of their rusted out fords (Which I just bought - but mine is really nice).

Did you try ebay or Autotrader? These sites should help you open it up to more buyers that are outside this site and your rural town.

I have been trying Autotrader for the past 4 days. Every time I go to finish listing it gives me an error and says that I must call... maybe I should try the site in IE (I have been using Firefox). The thing that sucks is that it has been hitting my card for a dollar every time. I called and they say that because I didnt make the deadline, my listing wouldnt show up intill the 27th. I figured as much for the Magazine - but the woman said that it would show up on the internet on the 29th - I really dont want to wait that long. I told her to cancel the order and she got all pissy and hung up on me. I think I may list the car on ebay at a reserve of $2,600 - do you think that is a fair asking price? Please tell me atleast what my car is worth.

Thanks again,
Todd

I think your lowballing yourself, If i were selling that car i wouldnt be taking anything less than 3k. I paid 3k for this one and it had 110k miles, and it wasnt even an "STX"... Im still trying to talk my mom into buying this for her and my use. Id about die if i had two celicas! Check out what BlueBook says its worth.

SOLD - I got 3k for it, and your celica looks nicer. Plus, the interior in my celica is kinda rough - the guy who bought it still got a good deal.

Thanks,
Todd

I bought a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. Finished putting in my stereo yesterday and bought a brush guard today - should be nice. I drove the celica again today (the buyer hasnt picked it up yet) and the thing feels like a go-cart in comparison. I needed something with more headroom, and to be more comfortable overall - the explorer answered that cheaply. I only paid $6,900 outright for the car, so I cant complain.

yea, good find i guess..too bad its an ugly explorer. Your just another joe on the road now. I have my xterra to answer all those headroom problems, it is nice, i must admit. Goodluck with the new car though.

I actually like the way the Explorer looks... it is definitley more common, but I like the Explorer more than an Xterra. Plus it was a LOT cheaper.
