man let me start by saying that I NEVER want to take the whole dash out again, took me a bout 3 hours, and i only cracked one spot, but it's internal and you can't see it, plus i have one extra bolt from somewhere oh well lol. Well thanks to all the right ups and how to on the site here or else I never would of had the guts to do it. I also changed my clock to blue and my guage cluster to blue(sweet!) I was going to do the a/c controls but the bulbs haven't came in the mail yet, I'll jsut do that lata cuz it's not the hard to get the a/c controls out, looks harder in the how -to then it actually is. Oh yeah mad props to pressure2 about the painting interior write ups, testors 30z model paint is amazing

after a lot of bad weather rain and stuff and me taking breaks the airbag install, guage light and clock change, painted interior and putting everything back together took me two days

next weekend i'll paint the door peices and change the courtesy lights too blue, but i thought I did enuff this weekend enjoy the pics!

where's my steering wheel!

man getting it out was horrible, i pulled the dash off and tilted it, then i had to go in up side done with the 10mm to un bolt a couple, but i did take my dremel to the old gold tabs though cuz i didin care about the old airbag, put i got the new one in prying the dash a lil bit with a long long flathead, that part of the dash is super strong, after fighting it for about 20 min i got the new one in with damaging the tabs and then bolt down the left and right grey brackets and suff, but man let me emphasie this is NOT easy lol

yep that's the next project, but i just hit a minor obstacle, my guage led's lasted one night!, the next night thier out, aslo the CC dials went out too but the buttons have lights, all the lights work in the gauge except the 3 leds. I thought their is no way they burnt out in one day, so I assumed it was a fuse blown, cuz cc and guage went out. Well damn I check the fuses today and none were blown errrrrrrrrrrrrrr damn. So I guess I 'll pop the ugly old green ones in tonight to see if it was the led's or not. COuld a fuse look good and still be blown? man it sucked driving home last night when i didin know how fast i was going lol

anyone know if this is true, my friend said that on the refractor led 's when you install them and touch the bulb that the oils from your fingers will cause them to burn out in a day or two, maybe this is what happened to mine cuz they worked two days, well i have two extra so i'll try to install them tonight, if i can't get those to work or the old green stocks ones to work, i'm going to have to get black reverse guages cuz my fuses are good, and i hav no way to find a burnt out wire, i've never used a voltmeter b4

im not 100 percent on this, but i think the oil from your skin only hurts filament bulbs... the heat from the bulb reacts with the oil on the glass... if thats the case then it shouldnt hurt an led because they dont emit heat the same way, they transfer almost all of their heat down the wire and not from the light they emit
