I've got a scholarship that pays for my full tuition almost here at Central Washington University. I also got two scholarships my senior year for my grades and achievements. I got a 1210 on the SAT when I took it with a hangover...probably should've taken it again but I was too busy.

Because my grades were not good enough.. I slacked off my senior year, I did not get a scholarship. I took the SAT 3 times, and the highest combined score I got was 1340.

1340 and you are considering beauty school? With numbers like that, you should think bigger. I scored a 1320 which allowed alot of options.

so far taken it once got 1530, seems like iam a smart a$$ but the high scor changed instead of 1600 being the high score it was replaced with a 2400 so i gotta take mines again but i have a few scholarships already. Not really all that academic mostly because i wrote some essays sent them in and got some grant money for handing them in on time. You can get plenty of grants and stuff for a whole bunch of things not just your grades or s.a.t scores

Well the 2400 scale doesnt count for another 5 years... the SAT people are still messing around with the tests and evaluating. I took the old one (1600 scale) and got a 1230... I took the new one and got a 1970..so my scores were pretty different. I got a 710 on the math i believe, and a pretty low score on the verbal. (old test) but i havent gotten any scholarships yet (Although i applied for a ton).

well i guess it depends on where you live some school over here are taking the new score while most of them are either taking your old score or just adding up 2 of your 3 scores something like that for instance your essay and your math. Ist confusing here in jersey it all depends on where you are planing to go and what there standards are.

I got a 2160 on the new SAT (like a 1440). Haven't heard back from scholarships or colleges besides UC Riverside yet. I think the best way to study is to get the Official SAT study guide with the blue cover. that book improved my score 200+ points. Also, the night before you take the SAT with the writing section, read the spark notes for To kill a mockingbird. You can answer basically any essay topic on TKM and Martin Luther King, Jr. using a 4 paragraph essay. you can pm me if you want more info.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Never took the SAT, but got a 27 on the ACT my first try...should have taken it more, because on the math portion I got a 16...

I didn't get anything other than the state lottery scholly, but it's only 3000 a year.

A 3.76 hs gpa, 27 act score, and being from the middle class even though your family can't afford to pay your way = no scholarships and TONS of loans.
