well i just got a letter from the government today telling me that i can no longer drive passengers or drive between the hours of 11pm to 5am because i have not had my license for one year. the old law was 6 months and i could do those things. now i get to wait another 5 months on top the of the 6 i have patiently waited to enjoy those privelegdes. the sad part about this law is that i know that i am a better driver than many people out there and you dont see anybody taking away their privelegde of driving other people or driving after 11.

lol i remember thoes laws, i hated em, but never took much advantage of em even after the 6 month wait (I was a loser, very few friends)

I think people over 21 can ride with you no problem, and any family member can, just the curfew that sux, but its for safety, dont be to confident in yourself, anything could happen, just be safe and drive carfully

just learn to deal with it. or just don't get caught. or else they'll suspend your license or take it away or what-not. which would mean you'd have to learn to avoid getting caught driving without a license.

... i have seen some VERY bad drivers. and i know i am not that bad of a driver. i dont speed or do stupid things that are stereotypical of people my age. i know that experience and age change the way you drive and probably make you a better driver, but im sorry to say that not everyone is as good as you and try as hard as many of us do to accel in our driving abilities. some people are just BAD drivers and are still allowed to do anything they please

all in all though i know that there is a reason for these laws but the worst part and the point i was trying to make is that I no longer had a provisional license as of November 23rd, 2005, until I recieved a letter telling me that I once again had a provisional license and had to wait another 5 months. Its ridiculous

i understand you 100 percent ... it is messed up that they did that to you .. it's kinda like you went to persion for something and after you got out went an changed the law.. an after serving your time the came and arrested you again for not serving the time aloted to the new laws... it really is BS for you and other kids in your position ... i would get pissed if i was you too .. but when i was in hs and my frist 2 years of college.. i lost some friends to bad teenage driving if they had the laws they have now back then .. they might still be alive.. all the accidents where during the night passed 10pm .. 6 months flies by .. in the mean time grab a note book and stright wrtting down all the mods you want to do to your celi an how your going to get them done..
