So where i live, theres a bunch of really good/crazy drifters. So the main guys are this guy Jover, my friend Tyler, James, and about 2 or 3 other guys. So these guys all drive different cars, S13s, S14s, AE86s, KP61s, R32s, SC400s, IS300s, MR2, MKIII supras...etc. Any ways, they just opened a shop recently (about 2 months ago) devoted purely to drifting. So they are turning one of Jover's 2 AE coupes into a full race/drift car, and are building a S14 with an R34 body kit from blitz. They are gonna be featured next month in Modified mag. Any ways, my jobs gonna b over in about 4 weeks..give or take then im takin 2 weeks of vacation and then need a new job. So come april, im gonna b workin with these guys. So my celica might b goin bye bye..also because im gonna be moving, i wanna get somethin a bit more fun 2 drive and a bit smaller..so im thinkin of gettin a JDM miata and get a greddy turbo kit with a CF roof.

Any ways, check these guys out. Etobicoke is boomin in the tuning scene and is home to alot of crazy new drifters.

EDIT: Jover's site, where you can check out some of the guys cars and a bunch of pics of the guys runnin the track.

Yea, Sasha and Jover are nuts. I think Sasha is gonna b the first guy from Canada to get their D lisence. He tryed out for it when Signal was duin their DX series here. He did pretty good. He actually gotta do a tandum session with Chunky Bai (drifter XL) and with KFC. KFC is such a sick driver and so freakin funny. When me and my friends went to DX2 last summer he was there and for some reason just grabbed the mic and goes "YOU HUNGWIE!? HAM-BOGER!!" and chucks a wendys hamburger into the stands from the pits..lol.

ughhh, everone has an 86 or 240 (including me, i know)..i like the miata idea...short wheel base, 50/50 weight distrabution, great drifto car...HOWEVER, imo, if u want to do something alittle differen't..get a frickn n/a fc and throw an sr20det into it...that is teh fricken hawtness

friends already duin the FC with an SR20, my buddy from college's dad has a 91 miata with a greddy turbo kit on it..that thing goes like hell n a half. But yea, u can get JDM(RHD) Miata's, or Mazda Roadsters as they r known in japan, for $3500 - $5000 with body kits, rims, interiors all done. I figure ill get one with some recaros or brides from japan with no engine work, then get the engine rebuilt, get internals and turbo it. Plus also every one in Ontario is into 240's already, there r some absouletly nuts AE's around here too. Theres even a guy who builds up old Datsun 510's with Blacktop SR20s that are fully built up. The guy can drive it to the track about an hour n a half away from here, run high 10s, low 11s all day, get his family back in the car and drive home again..lol. Im actually thinkin of gettin a old 200zx and SR20 it. Theres a guy around here whos part of the ontario Z club who has like 6 of them in storage and has one thats fully built up with a cage, 305 small block, coustom suspention..the car is rediculus.

yea there nice but im not into the older models to much, the oldest car i would ever buy right now is either an 86 or a s13, my favorite style, try to find an s13 silvia overseas if u wanna spend the money it would be worth it imo, but yea there are a lot of people with those by u it seams so maybe the miata might be the way to go, nothing beats blitz's r34 4 door skyline.. im in love witht hat car haha
