Im going to get the combat front bumper, and Im also in the process of turboing my 5s, but i wanted to know if anybody knows a good way to cover my intercooler??
Im sorta going for a sleeper look, and I dont want the intercooler to be too visable, but I also think a grill might look bad....does anybody know the best dimensions for an fmic, for a combat bumper??

Have fun with the modification needed to make the combat bumper fit. I got mine from andys auto and the fitment sucked really bad. Then after I cracked that one I got another one from versusmotorsport.com and the fitment on that one was even worse. juss wanted to prepare you.

ohhh yes, I am very prepared for the fittment issues, but I was thinking two thing......
either a tmic, or if I could fit a fmic that goes all the way across, and not sacrifice performance, due to the large intercooler, than I might go that route.
I was looking at ericsones car and I think that fmic looks kinda small, like maybe it would look better if it was longer, but idk if it would fit?
.....I was also thinking maybe a grill painted black, not like some crazy blingage type grill, just enough to draw attention away from the ic
....idk??

you can spray the IC black, and then use the grill (painted black as well) to hide the IC

i delt with the combat bumper a few times with coustoe's car

your going to have to shave down the inside of the large center opening in order to make it fit the car and then shave a little more to fit the IC
the opening is about 12" tall ruffly. the car i delt with didn't have his reinforcement bar on so that was also a downside that the time wasn't taken to fit it properly..if you go to
www.johnnyracecar.com you can buy a black intercooler in various sizes for an affordable price and good quality

edit: BTW if you havn't ordered it yet PM me i'll give you a link where you can order it for 175$
