 BRING NON-NASCAR MOTORSPORTS BACK TO SPEED CHANNEL!!!!!!!    [/SIZE] We are petitioning SpeedTV and Fox Cable to resurrect programming now either lost completely, programming which is broadcast off-hours (11pm-5am), or programming which could be extended or increased. This programming includes: -Formula One -World Rally -Grand Prix and Circuit Racing -SCCA Racing -Motorcycle Racing -Dakar Rally Speed Channel is flooded with NASCAR and dumb reality shows that rerun and rerun and rerun. Lets get some great sports on TV again! WE NEED 65,000 SIGNATURES so please tell your friends! ** ** The reason why this is so crucial to motorsports is that if media coverage is discontinued teams will lose sponsors! Without sponsors teams will not be able to afford to compete! Rally is already in great need of volunteers to work events. Money is tight and entry fees will continue to rise. Please save this sport by signing the petition for more media coverage! And it's just way cool to be able to see the WRC on TV! If WRC was kept on TV and remained a popular sport, maybe Toyota would have thought it was worth it to continue making Alltracs. Subaru is pushing their Rally cars.. I think that's the only thing saving the WRC by making it known in america just what it is. |

Bella.. LOL "even tho you don't like me" sorry sounds funny.
Yeah NASCAR isn't going anywhere! We're just trying to get more alternative motorsports back on TV so they will thrive again and not die out. Thanks for your support guys! Copy and paste the petition address to your friends over AIM or Yahoo.. it will help a lot. I would be doing this even if I didn't like these sports just because it takes a second to do and it could save peoples careers and dreams. One day I would like to be a rally driver but that won't be possible if it dies out. |

Signed, 10866. What is the Speed Channel anyway? I don't think I get that on my regular cable, but I would like to see all of the above mentioned racing. I like Rally, F1, Grand Prix and SCCA.

I like looking at the NASCARs, and they're okay to watch sometimes, but not all the time. I'm really sick of Barret Jackson. its unlikely it will "die out"... its just not very popular over here in the US, some of the most well paid athletes are foreign drivers. its just not televised here as much as it should be. i just hate how much this is a "nascar nation" there are sooooo many more thrilling motorsports than nascar... it depresses me when everytime i turn on speed and its 5 rednecks sitting around a table with headsets on rehashing nextel cup races all hours of the night... then.... THEN... when they finally stop talking nextel cup, they start in on the busch series, which half of them are the same freaking drivers!!!

I just hate the low-lying crap that flies on that channel. Disgustingly biased.
i don't like the "import-only" or "domestic only" crowd, and that channel seems pretty damn domestic biased. i stopped watching it when there wasn't WRC Rally Coverage on everyday(after HS ...long ago)
