There's a metal box located underneath the driver seat. I've done some searches and have no idea what is it. Not at home right now so I can't post the picture, but there's a sticker on it with some info:

BZT KU13009
Toyota 86280-20390
12Volt Negative Ground
FUJITSU TEN LIMITED
UM-261TL1
Serial NO 1400136

Googling of the Toyota # gives only one hit and it's in Russian.. something about an amp? no clue... help please. biggrin.gif

It's got cables and connectors coming out of the back.. and appears to be a stock part (at least the 'toyota' makes me thinks so. :b)

Anyone have a clue? Amp? Alarm? Nothing? lol... if no 6gc gurus can figure it out, I'll post some pics later.
Thanks. smile.gif

I thought under the seat was the stock alarm, and the stock amp (if you had one) would be behind the climate control unit

It is the alarm. On the front side it has a sensitivity adjustor for the glass break sensor and mine on the left side has the 'program' button for the keyless entry remote.

Do you have an 8 speaker stereo? If you do, thats the secondary amp, and not for the alarm.

The part number you gave (86280-20390) is for the amplifier. The stock alarm can also be located under the driver's seat just as AMCMoe has shown.

Two tweeters, 4 speakers at the front, and two in the back, so I guess that makes 8.
Secondary amp it is, I guess. tongue.gif The box is silver, not black, and doesn't look like the posted alarm pic.
I guess I don't have any type of alarm.. time to put one in.

Looks like the mystery is solved. biggrin.gif thx everyone.
