awhile back, i got in a wreck, blah blah blah skip details. right now, i gotta take my car to a body shop, as im putting my battry back in the car, the alarm goes off.... nothing big right? wrong. the thing to turn off the alarm, the little remote, the barttery is dead. and it wont turn it off! i need to be at the body shop in 45 minutes, or i have to reschedule for another time! frown.gif how can i turn the alarm off without my remote? i tried just turning the car on with the key, all that did was turn the car on, and the alarm was still goign off. help!!!

unlock the door, put the key to the on position, there should be a little switch under the dash where ur feet are. flip the switch the alram should shut off.

most alarms have a bypass button somewhere in the car, mine is down neer the kick pannel I have to push it insert the key while holding it turn on the car

i see a little red led light, but no switch. problem is, i cant see under my dash, cuz i cant open my driver side door.

*i have a 97 st limited edition - hatchback (not convertable)*

get into the car
sit in the driver seat and put your left hand on the door
move your hand all the way down and start moving it forward under the dash next to your left foot if you follow the door then this panel you should eventually feel a switch its DIRECTLY LEFT of your left foot

turn the key into the ignition all the way right without turning the car actually on and flick the switch that you should have found and you'll be good

All valet switches aren't in the same spot. It depends on who installed your alarm. Mine is just chillin under my shift boot so no one knows where it is but me. Pull the wiring harness at the alarm brain. I hope you don't have starter kill.
