the pic is of a clip, if you look close you can see the motor is bending the grass its sitting on, plus its missing parts and looks beat up.
the engine bay looks like this: although the motor in the pic below is diff. This post has been edited by creis: Feb 2, 2006 - 9:33 PM -------------------- |

Uh guys, i think its a black top SR20 in a 240sx, not an rb in a skyline. Since to me it looks like it says 16 valve on the cover.

yeah, it's not even hooked up or anything. maybe he has a 240sx for another car and it's too much trouble to put a sr20 in a celica or atleast try to... i wouldn't waste money doing that.

That would be a cool swap though. It's in my opinion the second best 4 cylinder, next to the 4G63

Any of you who thinks this is in a celica is dead wrong, and don't know too much about the 6g celica if any at all! Take a closer look at the brake and fuel lines in the photo and you will know that our celicas do not have the fuel/brake lines running and sitting on the left near the passenger, but on the right just below the Master cylinder. A nissian in a celica would require more cutting and the shifter would be completly out of place rather than be in stock position where it usually goes.

I agree with you Akimbo. I might take the sr20 over the 4g63 only b/c the crankwalk wasn't elminated until 99. However if you are talking about the 1st gen 4g63, then that's a different story.

I would take the SR20 over the 4G63, mainly from crankwalk and it being an interference engine. Bust a timing belt and smash some valves.
