Well my celica is slowly falling appart
The driver side axel is gone, clunks big time when turning and sometimes makes the steering wobble a little.

I definetly need a new one but the thing is i don't want to invest in a new axel only to use it for a couple months. I'm swapping soon, probly in june, so that would be a big waste of money.

so shoud i just try to last it until i swap (or completly break down) or should i get the E153 installed on the 5SFE? or any other suggestion?

(btw i can't do the swap right now, i'm still in college and i only have a weekend to spare to work on the car)

Wouldnt having an entire transmission put in just to have it taken out when you swap cost a bit more than just replacing an $80 axle?

EDIT: sorry i missed your point, you're talking added labour costs by doing engine and tranny swap seperate. this i thought would be cheaper cause i thought an axle cost alot more, i was given a much higher price for one. shops down here are f-ing rip offs

how do i get my hands on a $80 axle?
