how many of you have blown a tranny or kno someone who has in a 6gc?? i think mines starting to go so im swapping in a 5 spd asap *jus waiting on someone
 * but anyways, i found out i have a 97 tranny in my car and my cars a 95, so i wonder if the previous owner blew the tranny, and if this one goes that means it will be 2 that have been blown, so idk? i never heard anyone blow theres so anyone got any say on this?

I guess you could say I "blew" mine. Mine was a 5 speed. I'm also in the same situation. I have a 94 and since then has had a 96 tranny in it (The one I "blew" out). I guess my car likes to go through transmissions, idk. Its making me sad thinkin about it.

I took 5th gear and reverse out of mine.
