doesn't have to PASS the line, lol
ANY part of the ball, even the VERY tip just has to be over it. The white line IS endzone. -------------------- |

he was in the air when it passed #1
#2 the camera angle was IN the endzone so it makes it distorts the image slightly. I agree w/ a officials, and will be very suprised if the NFL declares it was a bad call after the game. . . It doesnt have to hit the line, just go over the front of it. And the only reason it wasnt overruled is because there wasnt enough evidence to overturn. But it shouldnt have been called a TD to begin with.
You agree with the officials because your a Steelers fan - you cant be objective. And to be perfectly honest - im glad they counted it because i just won the 2nd quarter in my pool. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Feb 5, 2006 - 7:54 PM -------------------- |

No I would not have called that a touchdown. The official didnt even call it until AFTER he moved the ball. It was total BS.

Fair enough...
i'm trying to find a pic of freeze frame again. to me it looked in, and since some cameras are on tripods might be able to draw straight lines down. .. http://www.superbowl.com/photos/football_s...bowl_xl/SEA@PIT if you click there and go to "upside down" you'll see the nasty hit El took. nasty nasty. . .we have some idiots that like to jump and turn themselves around letting their whole back open to hits. great players otherwise. QUOTE(creis @ Feb 5, 2006 - 6:18 PM) wow really sad thats a good song, they should have let it stay and not tried to sing it, there too old, and that singer is a very bad dancer. thats what i was doing watching him dance or whatever he calls that. it was actually kind of disturbing. -------------------- I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |
