I have a convertible, so the bottom-most console part is taken up by the controls for the drop top. I don't particularly want to spend extra $$$ to get a single deck cd player when the stock one works just fine. Where did you guys put yours?

What SAFC? My Haltech'll be mounted next to the stock ECU. Maybe I'll find a way to mount the laptop in the glovebox... BTW, I also have a convert

You can always make a few hp on any car with the AFC. BUT with basically stock celica engines... get an intake or exhust.

Hey man maybe you could mount it in the glovebox or something? Or dont they make those stands for them that you can put on the dash somewhere? Or you could just make some place custom, like fiberglass or something, its just an idea though.

If you notice in the pictures that only one of them has in in there. All the others, which are at longer distance, do not. I don't understand that at all. Is it there or isn't it? Are we looking at 2 differant cars here?

Also, it's not completly mounted yet if you look closely. The right side of the unite is pushed down further than the other wich could mean that it's just sitting in there and not mounted firmly. I've tried to emial them about it but there was no reply. Never the less, it looks good there and I hope they can fix it, I will find a way that's for sure, because it looks great there.

Hey,
I just saw this post, so sorry for no fast response. It wasnt hard to put the S-AFC where. You just have to cut the cig.lighter and remove the box next to it. Then mesure the height of the s-afc and cut the space (thats left then you removed everything that i sad) a little bit, that the s-afc would go tight. From the back of the panel (where the cig.lighter was) i used 2 metal brackets and used 2 side adhesive tape to hold the s-afc. And after you done this, it will be the gap in the right (or left or on both sides, it depend where you put your s-afc, cuz apex is shorter then the space left), so fill the gap wit some filler, snadpaper everything, and paint it. I will post pic how it looks compleatly finished -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...
