ok so I am getting an intrax spring kit for the celica and the question is... Sensa-trac or Gas-matic? At advance auto and the gas matics are only $10 more than the sensa-tracs. who has them and which is better in your opinions? right now I am leaning twords Monroe....simply because its my last name lol.

i had monroes on the fronts for a few days because i needed a non sports strut for my bilsteins..my experience with monroes wasnt pleasant, id go over a speed bump and it hurt, go with kyb or bilsteins.

Monroe, are just your daily driver struts for those slow speed bumps and corners. Go with KYB they are more Performance wise, or get Teins. We sell Monroe at the store and they suck like crap. Only an American made car would best suit it, not imports.

Here's a tell-tale sign -- warrenty coverage.
KYB will honour its warrenty even if your lower the car, up to 1.5". Monroe says its warrenty is invalidated by any lowering. Which do you suppose is going to be the more rugged design? |
