Funny how i didnt even see this thread till I got a few IMs and requests to look at it and i just said what a lot of people are thinking and im the rude one! If you cant handle the heat then get outta the kitchen!

People dont like parts of my car..i get flamed for my wheels and not having a 3sgte but i suck it up cuz i do my car for me!

i dont think i was rude. I made a valid point and i had a couple people back me up via IM. they just wont be willing to come on the board and say it unlike me!

A couple things your said could be taken as a little rude. But not that bad. I've seen a lot worse stuff on here, and people don't throw such a fit. I have no idea why people are picking on you so much. I think you should just say sorry for the comments that could have been considered rude, and have an end at this. I've got to publicly take your side on this thing. When Chanh55 posted pics of his car at first, he said he got basked on. And I don't know if anyone made a big deal out of that. And I have seen several times of other people getting bashed on due to their cars. I think the problem is, it's not a popular opinion. If you're with the group, you can say anything you want. I never thought I would ever back up THE attention whore.

^^in my opinion that is friendly critism because he states why he thinks it should go....these are things that help me out. Blunt comments are just there to be rude and not help. I respect "friendly cricism" and comments, which is why I have let them not bother me but blunt statments about the car or on the fact that "it is not worthy to be in media" does upset me. Those comments could be kept to themselves,k or if you have to say it, explain why and what you think i could do to make it better.That's all I have to say about that so now I'm moving on.

I agree the scoop doesn't fit in right now but hey, I had two weeks to fully repaint my car before the first show and I didn't have time to mess with the hood. I am having a custom fiberglass hood made now so in a couple months or so you will no longer see the scoop, and if so it will be functional. As for the wing, this is a on going topic my sponsor is in the process of getting me a TRD wing. Once I have that you will no longer see the Terminator II wing. And last but not least to clairify on the wheel wells. I have them so stop throwing a tissy over them j/k. Like I said previously I had two weeks to pull this car together for the show and I didn't have time to do alot of the things I would have liked. My car is still a work in progress so I have much more things happening with this car.

i just wanna say u guys are taking everythign said way to far imo..

all im saying is the car is nice, no one has done that to a 6gc so props for originality.. however im going on both sides here.. im not doubting all the media coverage but i know my friend who has full sponsorships for everything (about 20 sponsors) and take first at almost every show(more than 1 category), and he just made superstreet..

like i said not trying to start a war but i know its really tough to make magazines especially superstreet and import tuner.. i am wishing u luck and that would be great if u really got it cause a 6gc needs to be featured.. im trying to get into the show scene myself so im not trying to flame about ur car (jsut got my first sponsor yesterday, and no NOT carsponsorships.com haha).. good luck.

People will not always do thing you agree with, thats life. Everybody has a right to voice an opinion, being positive or negative. You all need to relax and stop jumping on people when the dont agree with something. The comments werent that bad, let it go.

With a car done up like this you are going to hear from both sides. I hope that you make it into a magazine, that would be great. Going off my personal opinion, I think toned down Celica would be best to represent our community.

I think it's fine as is. Maybe a little cleaning couldn't hurt. But I don't think it needs closed unless Celicagurl wants it closed. I really hope this is all settled. I think Jeff's point was a good one. If you have a ride that done up, you have to expect both ends of the spectrum. Best of luck to you in your shows.

This could come out as pointless, cuz its probably too late...but i think the car coulda looked alot better with the flames if the car was black instead of the red...i just dont like the flames competing with the redness of the car. Im excited to see the hood you have planned... Id also consider going projectors, or doing something like dustin and getting those black-housed projectors (would be hot with the flames). I know nothing about magazines and what it takes, but ive been reading alot of them lately, and ive seen some pretty crap cars on there...so i think you'd have justa chance as any... Id love to see a 6g get some exposure!

i wasn't trying to start a war or anything of that sort I was just mad because i don't see someone being able to say something like that unless they have the facts to back it up. There is a club here in pa (WR team) that has a couple cars that are done up less then mine and have been in these mags, and when i heard my car isn't done up enough or dosn't look good enough i got mad. I have been in Super Street before when my car was two tones for the super street tour 05, but now that i redid the car and made it in i was happy. When i said that my statment wasn't towards all of you that's the way it was ment. I'm sorry some of you took it that i couldn't handle some criticism. Most the posts i make about my car end up getting bashed on anyhow so i was expecting it, i just wasn't expecting that low of a blow, and i'm sorry this got out of hand.

unless it's event coverage, it's not going to be in all those magazines. Especially both Super Street and Import Tuner. It's an industry thing, you won't see a car featured in more than one magazine...unless it's an industry car (Tein xB, etc.).

And honestly, I can't see it being a feature car at all. No disrespect, cause I don't care what people do to their cars. But I just know the selection process that alot of magazines use. The paint isn't enough. Granted, can't see the interior or the engine work.

If that is the case than why claim "try to prove me wrong"? I just think it's poor taste to bash someone for the hardwork they put into their car. I personally do not like the style of the car myself but it's NOT my car.
Although I'll give anyone props for the hardwork they put in their car and it's great she won something to show off her hard work.

I'd suggest in the future to stick to constructive critisim rather than just starting **** for no reason. I'm still leaning towards jealousy, but I'll keep my opinions to myself.

i didn't feel like reading the last two pages completely through

there were different comments at one point on the pages, but mainly it was the car's ability to place being attacked, and the questioning of how it placed.
after the last time she got an award and you went through trying to find out in what category, and how many people were in the event n such...it's just too much. she got an award, and although the car may not be in a LOT of people's taste, shows judges try not to show preference as much, but rather work, originality, and such.

not really trying to put more wood on the fire. criticize the car n what u think should be done differently(CONSTRUCTIVE criticism), not just express a hatred for it.
