Finally I just took my 3SGTE RC/CS engine into the shop so that can prep it. And hopefully everything turns out the way i want it. After they prep it, they will call me so i can bring in my car for the swap. They told me estimated time to drop in the motor and make sure everything's working is about 2 days. Does that sound right? I know they have done some 3s swap before but not sure if 2 days sounds right. Well just to let you guys know. My demon will come ALIVE!!!!

Does that include the wiring? Two days is pretty darn good, but if you had two people who really knew there stuff, and nothing went wrong, it could be done... especially since you have a GT, and it's probably already manual, and you're probably using your GT tranny... what about the intercooler? Are you going front-mount?

you have to understand mechanic talk to know what they mean. when they say 2 days, it means 2 weeks. if they say 2 weeks, it means 2 months.

Yes it has the wiring harness and im gonna run the mr2 turbo transmission(without the little bar in the axle hole). My intercooler should get here tommorow. Intercooler size is 28x12x3 with 3 inch piping. I don't really want to go with 3 inch piping so i guess im gonna have to tell the shop to make it into a 2.5 piping.

I had the engine since last year of April. Changed all gaskets and cleaned up the engine just a little bit because it came clean already. And if you are wondering where i bought it from...I bought it from Toysport.

Dang, well I can accept some ownage I guess tongue.gif

team_omega, when I said "Does that include the wiring?", what I meant was does it include rewiring the harness? Because that takes some time. And since you're going with a front mount, E153 tranny, and (it sounds like) the wiring still needs to be done, there is NO CHANCE they will have that swap done in two days, even a week would be a suprise to me. Two days is what a shop will quote for a B16 swap into a '91 Integra, which is almost as simple as an engine change.

Well they will do the wiring, put on all new belt and hoses, 3" custom exhaust, fmic piping, put in my clutch(stage 3 clutchmaster) and flywheel(fadinza 12lbs) and the transmission. After that then they will drop it in if thats what they mean by two days. But oh well as long as it runs perfect im okay to wait for months if they need time.
