Selling my 99 GT Hatchback. It's fully loaded, red exterior, tan leather interior (two tone with black dash, ect), 5 speed, in outstanding shape.
It has 126K miles, runs like a champ and doesn't leak anything. Some of you may know that I recently did a spoiler delete, which I still have and will reinstall if wished. Also, during the course of cleaning up the exterior I found that the passenger quarter panel had been repainted, and rather poorly. I AM HAVING THIS PROFESSIONALLY REDONE PRIOR TO SALE/DELIVERY OF CAR. There's a few of your typical east coast door dings, but nothing horrible. The paint itself is in really good shape. Most of the wheels have a little curb rash on them, but they're the factory 15's. Inside the car, the leather interior is in tip-top shape, with no tears or anything. There is one small cigarette burn on the drivers side arm rest from a prior owner, and that's really about the extent of the interior flaws. Everything works, but the CD player has a tendency to skip now and then. Power everything, cruise control, the works. This was a loaded car. There is ZERO aftermarket modification to the car. Selling because the wife and I are buying a 06 Passat. Can't have 5 cars and I couldn't bare to part with the Lincoln. $7250 is my asking price. If no one bites within a couple of weeks I'll be putting it on eBay. Pictures are available upon request. My profile has pics before I removed the spoiler, pinstripe, and bumpstops, but the car is just as clean now as it was in those pics. -------------------- |

Gone so soon? What a shame. Good luck with the new car and the sale.

It sucks to do it because I really love the car, but I'm at a point where I want something a little more comfortable for a driver. We've got a 00 Lincoln LS that I LOVE but my wife hates because of it's reliability (admittedly, I get annoyed with it myself) but what it came down to is a choice between the Celica or the LS. Unfortunately, the LS won due to it's comfort factor and that I can put all of my mobility bags (3 huge bags of junk for deployments) plus my luggage in it as opposed to barely stuffing it all in my Celi. It's not a decision I wanted to make, and if we could have kept the Celi too I'd have easily gone for that but we just don't have the room. -------------------- |

I see. I love the LS's though. They are a great looking car in my opinion. Do you have the V6 or the V8?
Oh, btw, free bump for a good guy. -------------------- A Jaws4God Creation... |

Oh, btw, free bump for a good guy. Sale very possibly pending to a co-worker. Hey, thanks for the bump!! We've got the V8 in the LS. I absolutely love the car even though it's not the most reliable thing in the world. We only paid $11K for it in December of 2004, and for the money it's an incredible car. -------------------- |
