Hey guys, after suggestion from my little bro (who also suggested I paint my rims gold) I decided to amber out my turns and sidemarker. Check it out:

Bought the amber from Super Autobacs... 22 bucks... but it's quality stuff.

Sprayed sidemarkers 1 coat so it'll match a little better...

I think the amber looks way better... There was too much clear going on in the front... this helps balance my bright gold rims.

QUOTE(azian_advanced @ Feb 19, 2006 - 12:16 PM)

i've been ignoring this thread cuz i thought it was the same as the other one...

but omg, your car's beautiful... i bought the exact same body kit pieces from boosted6g minus the rear splitters, but suddenly changed my mind and wanted to go oem gtfour cuz i was worried about fitment and stuff like that..

man.. you really had us going when we thought you were gonna keep your car 'flat' black..

btw, black is definitely the hottest color (or shade.. whatever) on a 6g.. because black shows a lot more reflection than any other color which really shows off the celi's body lines and curves..

i'd give this a 9.8/10 rating since the only thing bugging me is the center tri-circle emblem on the rear hatch and the slight gap between the hood and the bumper.. but that's just me being paranoid. but i'm really lovin' the shaded toyota emblem on the front.

Jeez you have good eyes... then again those were pretty detailed pics. =) Thanks for the compliment. biggrin.gif

IPB Image

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

No way am I touching the tails... they're sexy just the way they are. Thanks for the compliments.

I'm not sure how I'm going to minimize the gap between the hood and the bumper. The only thing I can think of is relocating the latch a little lower or something like that.

try screwing in the rubber stoppers first and see if that helps lower the hood some more
