good job...i think youll like that one.
most of the greddy ones will still keep some of the sound after you recirculate it, so you might like it more then your current one. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

It will be interesting to see if my milage improves. I checked again on my last tank and I am at 19.9 mpg. Of course, thats with the upgraded turbo and uncontrolled 540's. I figure if I get a recirculated BOV and a ROM tune I may be able to improve gas milage.

Lookin good Nik.
Standalone would be nice but it would be about $2500 to get everything I needed plus a tune. I am not putting that much money into this car. I am going to buy a nice set of tires though. I probably will do neither because the last thing this thing needs is more power. When the BOV goes on, I am also getting my new 36" magnaflow mid-muffler. Here's a pic: mid-muffler -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

Good luck with the Greddy RS we will have to compare sound clips to see if there is a difference between a recir. and a non edit: what stand alone you thinking of getting if you got one? Blow off valve: releases boost pressure between shifts to reduce turbo wear.

ok heres another dumb question, what does recirculating it mean, like in terms of improving gas mileage and what not....and i think dustin was wanting to know what the stand alone did, and if he didnt, i would.

Recirculating means the air that is usually "blown off" is routed back into the intake path as to not create a momentary rich condition which can cause backfires. I dont know how much it'll actually increase gas mileage.
