i havent started my car for 2 weeks so the battery died. then we charged it back up and it still didnt start. it turned out to be my alarm's disabling system. the problem is i dont know how to reset it. im pretty sure when they installed the alarm there was this small button thing that they didnt install. i asked them y and they said they didnt need it. so i was like whatever. is there any other way to fix it? i dont know where the little button is anymore

You mean the valet switch? They're not necessary...neither of my cars' alarm systems have them. You should be able to disarm your alarm and the car should start. Does the alarm work normally now that you've got the battery charged?

Well I'd doubt it's the alarm's fault then. It could be I guess though...what sort of kills does your alarm have?

You don't "need" it. I am an installer at best buy. We dont put them in alarms because it allows you to start the car with the key without disarming the alarm. BUT if you don't use it as long as you have the key the car will still start but the alarm will be going off even as you drive (ie:::: parking lights flashing, siren sounding) so I think it has nothing to do with it. What alarm do you have exactly? I may be able to help you disable it so if that is the case for some reason, at least you can start the vehicle.
