Ok, first off, im 20 years old. I would like to rent a car in Florida. I know alot of places require 25 (if im not mistaken) For those of you who have rented a car what company did you go with and how were the prices. The reason I need to rent a car is because Im going to buy an 06' WRX STI and I need to get used to driving stick again. So what I want to do is just rent a beater car for a week, I figure after I do that I will be as good as gold again. Anywho, let me know what you guys have done. BTW even if you have to be older to rent a car its still no problem I just prefered to have it in my name, but my sister and mom have volunteered to do it for me.

I looked at where I rented the car in Ft. Lauderdale, for soem reason I remember the rates being a helluva lot higher, but here:
Underage Minimum age for renting a vehicle is 18. The fees for underage renters are as follows: $15.00/day: 21 - 24 years old renting non-specialty vehicles (see FAQs) $25.00/day: 18 - 20 years old renting non-specialty vehicles (see FAQs) $30.00/day: 18 - 24 years old renting specialty vehicles (see FAQs) $10.00/day: 18 - 24 years old renting with Corporate accounts for any car class. ^^ ive rented a couple cars in my day, ive never seen one that wasnt an auto. i dont know that they do rent lower end manual cars since they want the cars to be able to go to the broadest range of people possible.
