Well, the real question is...what problems have you recently had with it??? You said thats why you want to sell it, which makes me think its been something serious...Sadly ive put over 2k of unexpected work into just the engine alone. Which still wont raise the price. If everything is good, i think you could get high 5s low 6s for the car. The fact that it still has that stock lock (and GT), makes it a valuable pick up.

go to CARMAX, or something like that--they can give you a good quote.

its going to be worth more or less depending on who the potential buyer is...

lets say some 50 year old guy is looking at it. he is going to see the muffler and the lowering, and the racing seats and he is going to give you a lot less then lets say a 17 year old kid who wants a hot roddish car.

i did a kelly blue book and got around 4k USD with a "good" condition. but keep in mind that is with all original parts. exhaust, lowering springs, etc. can take value from the car with some buyers and can add value with others. however your car looks very nice so you never know

Recent problems = first cylinder head had valve guides out of round...second cylinderhead was messed up and cracked and leaked oil and started it twice with no oil in the car. Hense the new motor. Since ive had the car ive only put 18xxxKm on it with oil changes every 3000KM. and im not gonna part it out..and the torinos are red with black bolsters:P

I dont think you should sell it Valo.
Look at what you've done to it.
It would be a waste if you sold it now.
You wont get the money back from the
mods you've done.

I really havent put all that much $ into it. Its alot of gettin the stuff for cheap prices. I paid $4500 CND for the car, paid $2000 to get it repainted every where except under the hatch and under the hood, $3200 for the sparcos, $1200 for the new engine including install, then the sub i got for $50, deck i got for $80 from my sponsor, my amp $20 from my sis' ex bf, etc...like ive probably put maybe $10 or 11K in total.

I just check autotrader.ca and in my province, there are 5 celica's for sale right now. All hatchbacks and 1 convert. The convert is goin for the most at $10K with 70xxxMiles on it, dunno how many km that is, but w/e. But completely stock 94 or 95 celica, but they say its ONLY ONE IN CANADA!..weird..i thought u had a convert Lissa..lol But yea, like up here celica's go for an a$$load of money. cheapest one is 94 celica GTS, unknown km, stock except a set of cheap lookin rims. But yea, read the comments...

Comment: 2 dr, 5 spd, loaded, pw, pl. Sunroof, black tinted. Alloy rims. Runs ex. No accidents. New brakes. CD player. Very fast. $4900

Very fast...ummm..k. But yea..every one of the celica's on for sale are auto.

no, don't do that if you want to get anything decent out of your car. I work at Carmax, and yes they'll pay you for your car no questions asked (you should see some of the crap we have in our wholesale lot) but most of the time it's nothing special, usually around or a bit less than Kelly Blue Book trade-in value.

Even though you have a lot of mods, I wouldn't expect them to raise the value of your car. And since it has problems, you should expect a bit lower than the book value for your car.

one problem about the whole carmax thing..carmax up here doesnt exist. There is a place around here called carmax, but its not related to the carmax in the states. Also u say its probably gonna be lower than book value cuz of the problems..it doesnt have any problems now, i fixed every thing. Well, all that i need to fix still is a new set of swaybar end links.

Lissa, u pissed cuz theres another vert up here?? Theres another 2 that i know of, a white one with a black top and a guy who ive seen around my area a few times who has a black one with a tan top. They kinda stand out, thats why i noticed them.

i think this thread is pointless..lol..mainly cuz in the states theres alot of Celi's..up here theres like nothing. You see maybe 2 or 3 a month. Plus the book value up here for every thing is different for you guys. I checked a site from the states for a 94 GT with 120miles on it and it said book value is $3000 or $3500 USD. Yet my 94 Celica GTS with 140xxxKM on it, stock, mint condition is worth $9500CND. If a car gets into an accident and the dmg is worth more than 3/4 or somethin like that of the total cost of the car according to the black book. The dmg to my car in the summer was $6300. It would have been a write off if it wasnt worth more. I talked to a few guys at used car dealerships and they said that they would pay me around 8 or 9K for the car...but they said i could get around 13 to 15K.
