This may not be much news to many people, but im excited because nobody can seem to find this bumper anywhere and i got a BRAND NEW one from toyota so i dont have to worry about sanding or body work. i ditched the old invader kit and am going back to oem with some ss-III extensions.
just thought id share the news.....oh btw i already bought the oem rear bumper cover from someone on this site but it hasent came in yet. I really wasent feelin the vader kit kindasad.gif

Good decision. thumbsup.gif

IMO: I think Vader kits and all those flamboyant kits are so late 90's...

how much did that bumper end up costing you if you dont mind me asking? I may call your dealer down there and have em ship it up to austin. Cuz the Conicelli guys wont ship a bumper for some reason.

Man i feel kina lucky, and i kina feel ripped off. I won the ebay bid on the 2 front and rear bumpers for the 96, i have a 96, but the bumpers are really not in great shape. Well i won the bid for $200, but the shippin was a killer $100.

I dont know if theres a way to fix the bumpers, but ill probably take pics of it later and sell it like dirt cheap. Just incase someone wants to buy it to repair it, if not ill just trash them.

Nice decision celicagt96...your pretty much doing exactly what i was wanting to do, so i may have to change it up a bit, i wouldnt want two celicas looking the exact same in Texas kindasad.gif

But nice choice, i may be calling toyota tomorow.

lol sugar... that sucks, whats wrong with the bumper? i had that guy ready to end the auction early and sell me the bumper, but he was worried that people would give him bad feedback or something...but anywho i may be interested.

oh ok, cuz i thought you said you were going with a 96 bumper and splitters, which is the same thing, and therefore it would look similar... im excited to see how yours turns out.

congrats on the bumper. i honestly think that the only good modified front bumper looks for the celica are splitters or C-One. The rest look bulky and cartoony, and destroy the Celica's clean lines.

I always liked your color, but the splitters are a little low key for me. However definately a plus losing the invader kit.

thanks alot^^^what do you mean low key??

oh and the reason why i say it wont be the same is because im going for the ss-III extensions look but im making my own from fiberglass. Mine will just look similar and the extensions i make are going to come down just a little lower
