Would that fit on our car? It's from a '93 celica

I put the pics on my profile.

I don't see the egr thing. I had a 90 GT, it didn't seem different, but I never looked at it too close. I'd take Presure's word for it.

looks a good 1/2 to an inch shorter, the stock shaped plug wires will not fitt, (both too tall and square) dont konw if 5th gen wires would fit but could mod em.

thats a nice looking cover though, well polished.

That's from a 93 celica? It doesn't look anything like the normal 5S vavle cover.

Would that mean that the cylinder head is longer in a 94+ celica as opposed to a 93- celica?

^ i dont know, never looked close at a 5th gen cover, but if the shop is selling it cheap could buy it, and re-sell it for more.

I've seen a few 93 GT/GTS that have the EXACT same valve cover as 6th gen GT's, thats when they started using the newer generation motor if im not terribly mistaken. I went to high school with a guy that had the exact same motor in his 93' GT as my 94' GT, and he claimed it was stock. Also i know that ive seen 93+ MR2 NA with our valve cover.

If it doesnt look just like your current valve cover and doesnt have an EGR port, then forget it.

OKay, so I have a cylinder head sitting here from a 93 camry (without valve cover) does that mean it won't fit on my 94 celica? All the gaskets I ordered were for a 94, and they all seem to fit. What the hell is up?

I think that will work.

Yeah, I've looked over the heads and the look identical. The only thing I question is that the timing wheel on the camry head looks a lot bigger than the one on the celica. I'll let you know what happens once I swap them in a few weeks.

um, the gen years of the camry and celica are not the same. cant cross compare like that, its all on the motor specs. I think a 93 camry (5sfe) head is identical to the celica (5sfe) head.
