Hey whats up all. Well my wheels were all scrapped up from some curbage(thanks to previous owner biggrin.gif ), so I decided to paint them. So far i just have them primered and now I have to wait till the weather gets alil warmer. Heres some pics...

U no it. Theres about 10lbs of it on each wheel. lol It took forever to tape them off. -John

Yeah I had the same problem with taping my wheels... I'm surprised you got it to stick. One guy (from another forum) got so frustrated because masking tape wouldn't stick he used elmer's glue and painted it on... I thought that was pretty clever. biggrin.gif

I clean the tires really good before taping, so im guessing that help the tape to stick better. Theres so much duct tape on there it might pull the tire off the wheel later. lol

Im goin with gunmetal. My friend has the same wheels in gunmetal on his black RSX. So hopefully they turnout lookin something like his. lol

P.S. Srry to Wanabe for wasting ur time with my photochops but i decided to go gunmetal.

looks good. you can also use index cards and put them around the crevices where the rim meets the tire. a lot easier and it takes like 2 minutes, also works amazing. ill try to find some pics so you can understand what i mean.

Taping off tires is a waste of time...just use index cards

Painted gloss black then painted lip red.
