7afe with 15 degrees of base timing, i burn 89 octane fuel to prevent any possible detonation, but should i be using stock plugs or should i use a colder or hotter plug?

Yeah this is a good question. I am getting ready to adjust my timing. Just have to go back to regular.

Does retarding/advancing your timing do anything for performance?

Bitter, what plugs are you using now? I have NGK iridium IX's. I have been told that these were too hot of a plug for the 7A but they do so much better than the Bosch's that I had before.
