I am having this wierd starting problem that I can't figure out. Every once in a while... maybe once a month or longer, it just won't start. There seems to be power to everything, not even a dimming of lights at all. I've even checked the battery on my charger and there is plenty of juice. It does not even attempt to turn over. It seems like it just fixes itself after 10 minutes or so and starts up great. Then it doesnt happen again for a while.

Any ideas?

Is it really not even turning over? If that's the caise, it's just a short. If you let a car sit for a couple days or so, it will pick up mosture. This makes shorts and other things happen easier.

check the starter, that was the problem wit mine. also, how old is the battery. it says you live in FL so iam guessing the cold would have nothing to do wit it cuz on my jeep the same thing was happening but it was only because the battery was old and wouldnt turn over due to the weather.

check the contacts in the starter, they wear out. When mine went the car would randomly not start like that. It's just little copper contacts they are super cheap too, if that is the case.

Thanks for the tips, I'll give them a shot.

Its not like I left the car not running for days. Its like I stop at a gas station to grab a pack of smokes or some gas and it doesnt start back up. Its wierd. Its not really that old of a battery, 6 months to a year. And like I said, the power is fine even when it wont start. The prob is that it wont even try and turn over. No clicking, sputtering... just nothing.

I'll let you know if I find anything. Thanks again for the tips.

check starter, check igniter, ect. those are fine. it has to be a fuse or a meesed up wire in the harness. everything is plugged in and i dont have power windows, radio, ac/heat, so thats a matter of a fuse. right... do i need to swap relays and fuses from the interior JDM clip? everything is plugged in... Hmm batman when u see this call me tongue.gif hahah wrong thread. my bad
