Were there ST 6th gen in Canada?

Seems all I can find are GT or GT-S..what's the difference I can't find any, and I didnt see coupes either.

Does the GT comes with the 7afe?

There were a few, but you had to special order them from toyota. In Canada there was mostly GTS, there are mostly GT-S' for sale here, and a few GT's imported from the states. There are a few ST's floating around. Nader and Paul(behindthesmile) both live near toronto and they have ST's. And no the GT or the GTS did NOT come with a 7A-FE, only 5S-FE.

I think they were just called "Celica" w/o anything behind it since i've never seen someone sell an "ST". When i was looking back in the summer... about 1/4 of the ones posted were ST's... when i asked people who posted ads for just "Celica" the size of the engine was when i found out they were "ST's"

there are coupes here too... i test drove one before

Coupes wherent made or sold here, same with Converts. And most celica's here marked with just Celica are GT's without the badges. The ones with no markings are usually just GT's with the 4 speaker package. The GT-S' have the 6 speaker package.

If ur interested in buyin a celi, mine might be forsale soon. and if ur not wanting to pay 2 much, buy one from the US.

i found a convertible!!!! biggrin.gif

good luck on your search
you could buy one cheaper from the US, but you'll probably end up paying the same amount by the time you get it up here... plus all the headaches of paperwork and **** to get it here... not usually worth the hassel in my opinion...

I'm studying in Dieppe right now I'm originally from st-leolin. And I'm sure I saw your car on the highway between bathurst and moncton, a gray 6th gen with the projectors, I thought to myself , yea, this guy loooooves his car biggrin.gif .

btw I had a red 5th gen with a RC bumper on the front.
