Whenever i close either the driver or passenger doors...i hear a sound that makes the door seem as if it is kinda hollow inside...gets me kinda paranoid that i think the door is hollow...is this normal?? i want a clean solid sound as i slowly close the door...anybody with the same effect?

the door "is " hollow
![]() If you want the clean solid sound. Look into deadening the doors. Usually for audio application or to decrease road noise. |

My doors make a very loud and scary "CLANK" when they are closed too hard. I believe it is from my manual-power window conversion. As for your light problem.. take the plate surround thing off and check if it is all alright. Maybe a loose bolt? If not, find a way to hold them in place. Maybe Super glue or something of the sort?
