hey iam curious if the gt 4 hood would fit flush with the c one front bumper? Something similar to tufy setup? I have read that you need to mold the gt 4 grill in to get rid of the gap that the hood makes, can anyone confirm this?

The knockoff C-One bumpers that are sold i n the US are made for the Celica GT and therefore would/ should be flush with the stock GT hood. So if you used a GT-Four hood, it would not sit flush with the bumper, you will have a gap.
If you want something similar to Tufy's setup using the C-One bumper, see my profile. It's a C-One knockoff front bumper with a VIS CF C-One Hood. ![]() |

By the way where did you get your bumoer and hood from, vis? I got both from Boosted6g. You can either hit him up or buy it off ebay... it's the same stuff. If you buy it... be sure you know what you're doing because the install isn't that easy. You should look into the GT-Four conversion if you like the hood so much. If I did it again, I would probably go the GT-Four route. Much cleaner and the install should be direct bolt on. |

Yea the true c-one makes a c-one bumper for the ST-205 you could get that and the GT-4 hood, and it would work.

actually both the GT-four and FF celica kits are availible from C-one. They would both fit if you got the hood to match whichever one you got. Bumpers that would bolt onto an st205 will bolt onto any other 6th gen celica (ST202,203 etc etc). The only difference is the buldge in hood and bumper for the ST205. And they accept different turnsignals too.

SO why is that a GT-4 hood would leave a gap with a c one front bumper?

cause the gt-4 has a little nicer curves, in the middle it bulges up, so if you get a true gt4-hood you need to get a bumper that aligns with the curves.
a member here NEVERSTOP if you search for his profile and look at his pics has the hood, and not the bumper you can see it looks sorta odd. ^^in that profile you can see what we are talking about. anything american dosent have those cool curves, we fade it out before the bumper. -------------------- ![]() |

The GT4 hood would only leave a gap on a bumper not made for the GT4. C-One happens to make a kit for both AWD and FF applications. If you want to get an authentic GT4 hood, then your going to need to get the C-One front made for a GT4, or any other bumper made to fit a GT4.
